The University of the Fraser Valley, and this community, makes us what we are. UFV Athletics and Campus Recreation believes that every student should have an opportunity to be a part of our programs. Whether through participating with a varsity team, cheering on the Cascades as a spectator, or enjoying Campus Recreation sports and programs, we are all Cascades.

Rally for the Valley upholds the standard that is created by our amazing fans and sets the direction for new fans to have a sense of purpose, identity, and impact with the Cascades. Whether you are a community member, UFV student, alumni, or a casual observer, our fans RALLY for our teams... whether we are down by 5 or up by 50 they rally behind us until the very end.

UFV Cascades Athletics
Each of our Cascades varsity programs hold yearly open tryouts so that every student at UFV has the chance to try to represent UFV. You can reach out to the head coach of your chosen sport for more information.

UFV students get free admission to watch Cascades varsity games if you show your student ID at the door.  With games being held most weekends during the fall and winter semesters, UFV students have plenty of chances to come enjoy high-level sport and support your UFV Cascades on the field and on the court.

Opportunities are also available to be involved with a part-time job on the Cascades Crew game day staff.

UFV Campus Recreation
Campus Recreation programming is open to all students, staff, faculty, and alumni, with the goal of providing those at UFV opportunities to actively participate in programs that foster enjoyable leisure experiences, healthy lifestyle practices, meaningful connections with peers and colleagues, and holistic learning.

We also provide students with the opportunity to develop their leadership and bring their creative ideas to the table to help better Campus Recreation through Co-Curricular opportunities, volunteering, or part-time employment.
