Graduate of McMath Secondary . . . lettered in volleyball and basketball… placed 2nd at the BC AAA provincial championships in grade 10 . . . team was lower mainland champions the same year . . . lower mainland all-star in both grade 11 and 12 . . . invited to participate in the BC sports hub lower mainland vs Fraser Valley all-star games in grade 11 and grade 12   . . . BC sports hub top 20 list of 2018 BC graduating girls basketball players . . . was a member of the basketball BC provincial team at U14 and U15 level . . . recipient of the Dogwood for Physical Education Scholarship and Bob Carkner Memorial Scholarship.

Played for head coach Anthony Beyrouti on the U16 and U17 teams at VK basketball.

Parents are Andrew and Lori Zawada . . . older sister Jessica is currently in her third year with the Cascades . . . enrolled in General Studies at UFV with a career aspiration of becoming a teacher or police officer. . . hometown is Richmond, BC.
