In accordance with Rugby Canada's suspension of all sanctioned rugby activities nationally effective March 14 until at least April 10, the UFV women's rugby sevens club is postponing its youth rugby camp, originally scheduled for March 15. For more information, contact UFV head coach Jen Ross (coachjenross@gmail.com).

The University of the Fraser Valley women's rugby sevens club will be hosting a rugby camp for athletes in grades 7-12 on March 15, 2020.

The camp is open to both boys and girls, and will be held at Aldergrove Community Secondary School (26850 29th Avenue, Aldergrove) from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The day will be focused on skill development, and guest coaches will include Jake Thiel (Canada men's sevens), Jon Thiel (UBC men's skills coach, former Canadian international) and the UFV women's sevens team.

Cost is $35, and payment can be made on the day (cash, or cheque made out to UFV Rugby).

Athletes are asked to bring a water bottle and mouth guard.
