KELOWNA, B.C. - The UFV Cascades men's and women's golf teams joined together to take on the UBC Okanagan Heat this week in the annual Coquihalla Cup. The Heat hold an 11-6 lead after the first two days of the Ryder Cup style match play event held at the Quail course at the Okanagan Golf Club earlier this week. Â
The Heat would win the fourball session on Monday over the Cascades 3.5-2.5, following up with a 7.5-3.5 victory in singles play.
The two teams will reconvene in the spring down in the lower mainland for two more days of action to conclude the event.
The Cascades won the inaugural running of the event in 2022 by a score of 16-12.
