Cascades Storylines
  • WVB: The Cascades look to continue their strong season, as they still currently rank No. 2 in the USPORTS National rankings. They head to Brandon this week for a pair of games against the 1-11 Bobcats.
  • MVB: After picking up a pair of crucial wins over Calgary last weekend and extending their win streak to four games -- the Cascades head into another pair of pivotal matches with Brandon (4-8) as they continue their playoff hunt.
  • WBB: After losing a pair of matches with the nationally ranked UBC Thunderbirds, the Cascades look to get back in the win column at home against a winless MacEwan side.
  • MBB: The Cascades pushed the No. 2 ranked team in the country to double overtime on Saturday but fell just short. With six games remaining in the regular season, the Cascades look to get back to winning ways against the 2-10 MacEwan Griffins.

Milestone watch
  • MBB: Dario Lopez closes in on 1,000th career point – Needs just 3 points to become the fourth UFV men's basketball player to reach the milestone at the Canada West level. He will also become just the second Cascade to register both 1,000 points and 500 rebounds in Canada West.
  • WBB: Maddy Gobeil sits eight points shy of second place in the Cascades all-time scoring list. The fifth-year guard has tallied 1,313 in her career, and will look to catch Sarah Wierks this weekend.
  • WBB: Nikki Cabuco sits in second all-time for the Cascades in 3-PT field goals. She needs just 24 to tie Aiesha Luyken for the program record.
  • MVB: Nimo Benne needs just three aces for 1,000 in his career.

Current Cascades Records and Standings
