Storylines
Men's Basketball
  • The Cascades picked up an important weekend split in Calgary over the weekend to improve their record to 3-4 on the season. The Cascades have now won three of their last four games after a tough start to the season.
  • UNBC currently boasts a 2-5 record on the season but have lost their last three games heading into the weekend. The Timberwolves will be led by the conference's current top scorer Evgeny Baukin, and the Cascades will have to be focused to nullify his 25.1 points per game.
Women's Basketball
  • The UFV Cascades (2-5) come into an important weekend needing to get back to winning ways, as they take on the UNBC Timberwolves (0-7). After a pair of losses to the nation's sixth ranked team in Calgary last week, UFV will look to get a couple of wins and push themselves back into the Canada West playoff picture.
Women's Volleyball
  • After picking up a pair of wins over UBC Okanagan on the weekend the Cascades enter a bye week before returning to action next weekend with a pair of matches in Calgary.
Men's Volleyball
  • The Cascades fell twice to the UBC Okanagan Heat last weekend but will now have a bye week to reset before they head on the road to take on the Calgary Dinos next week.
