Cascades Storylines
  • WBB: The Cascades look to claim a second consecutive Canada West bronze medal, and book their trip to nationals as they take on the University of Alberta Pandas on Friday in Edmonton. The Cascades and Pandas finished second in their respective divisions in the regular season, but did not meet this season. The teams met twice in 2024, splitting the series with one win each.
  • GOLF: After a long winter break, the Cascades are back in action in Las Vegas. The men's and women's golf teams look to get off to a good start to 2025 as they compete in a strong field that includes multiple Canada West opponents.

Notable
  • WBB: Maddy Gobeil currently sits in fifth place in the Cascades playoff record book for total points with 197. The senior guard is also the program's leader in playoff points per game.
  • WBB: Julia Tuchscherer set a program playoff record last weekend against Saskatchewan, picking up her 23rd career playoff block in her 10th game to pass Sarah Wieks and Kayli Sartori. Tuchscherer also currently sits in a tie for fifth in the program's playoff rebounds list with 85.
  • GOLF: The Cascades roster this week has Eli Greene, Andrew Biggar, Hayden Prive, Zach Auramenko, and Lucas O'Dell on the men's side, while Morgan Best, Lucy Park, Coral Hamade, and Avery Biggar will be competing on the women's side.
