WSOC: Eesha Mudaliar puts two goals in against UNBC in a dominant win for the Cascades

Abbotsford, BC: UFV Cascades won an offensive game against the UNBC Timberwolves scoring 5 goals.

The win brings UFV to 3-4-2, while UNBC moves to 0-7 on the season.

How it happened:

The UFV Cascades took an early lead against the UNBC Timberwolves in the 13th minute of the game, when Catie Cameron had intercepted the ball off a UNBC player, passing it back to Eesha Mudaliar in the box. Who shot the ball past UNBC's defenders and goalkeeper.

Another goal was scored by UFV's Jaidyn Jackson after a freekick for UFV sending the ball into the box which ricocheted off a UNBC player but was kicked in immediately, in the 44th minute.

Quickly following suit, Mudaliar upped the score 3-0 as the first half concluded. Mudaliar got her second goal of the night on a freekick shooting the ball through the keeper's hands and into the net.

UFV and UNBC went back and forth coming back from the first half. Until UFV found another goal, this one scored by Kyla Kerr, when the ball was shot back to her by a UNBC player trying to get it out of the box, but Kerr found her opening and succeeded in a goal in the 83rd minute.

Keanna Bentley finished off the scoring in the last remaining moments of the game after Zoe Black hit the ball up into the box from the left side over all Timberwolves defenders to which Bentley found her opportunity shooting it to the top right corner away from UNBC's keeper. This made the final score of the night 5-0.
