The UFV Cascades basketball teams begin their playoff quests on the road this Friday, as men's basketball heads to Edmonton to face off with the University of Regina Cougars, and women's basketball travels to Saskatoon for a meeting with the Mount Royal University Cougars. Both games are single-elimination games with the winners advancing to play in Saturday's conference quarterfinal.
Meanwhile, the Cascades volleyball teams play host to the University of Manitoba Bisons to close out their regular season schedules on Friday and Saturday at the UFV Athletic Centre. Saturday's games will also be the Cascades annual senior night for the volleyball programs.
Each game will be available to watch live on Canada West TV, while UFV students and staff get free admission to each of the team's home games.

Women's Volleyball
- The Cascades head into the final weekend of the season, with multiple playoff scenarios still possible depending on results.
- UFV (9-9) will take on the Bisons (13-5) to close out the regular season. Manitoba has won seven of their last eight games coming into the final weekend, while UFV is 4-4 over the same stretch.
- Saturday's match will feature a post-game ceremony celebrating a number of graduating players.

- The Cascades (0-18) close out their season against the 12-6 Bisons, who enter the weekend having won eight straight matches.
- UFV libero Yahia Elsayed sits third in the conference with 2.08 digs per set.
