Abbotsford, BC – Canada West announced their 2026-27 schedules for conference play this week.
UFV Men's soccer kicks off their season on the road, on August 27, with a rematch of the Canada West semifinal against the UBC Thunderbirds. Meanwhile, women's soccer will open their season against local rivals Trinity Western on September 4 with a men's match to follow. Both squads will play their first home match on September 11 at Rotary Stadium, once again against the Thunderbirds. The teams will close out their regular season at home with matchups against Trinity Western and the Victoria Vikes on October 23 and 25.

Men's and women's volleyball will open their seasons with back-to-back matches at the UFV Athletic Centre against the Saskatchewan Huskies on October 23 and 24. The Cascades will play home-and-away sets with Trinity Western on November 19 and 20, and UBC on January 28 and 30, before closing out the season on February 19 and 20 in Winnipeg.

The Cascades basketball teams tip off on the road on October 29 against Victoria, before their home opener on October 31 against UBC. The teams will face off a total of three times each against UBC and Trinity Western, before closing out the season on the road against Thompson Rivers on February 12 and 13.

The Cascades men's basketball team has also announced a series of six games against NCAA division one opponents this summer. The team will play Washington State, Purdue, Idaho State, Marquette, Oregon, and Portland State between July 18 and September 3. All but one of these games will be played at the UFV Athletic Centre, and tickets are currently on sale at gocascades.ca/summerseries.

The conference also announced the dates for the Canada West Golf Championship, which will see the UFV men's and women's golf teams travel to Lethbridge to compete on October 5-6.
