Lévis, Quebec – After the dust settled on the third and final round of the 2026 Golf Canada University / College Championship at Golf La Tempête, the UFV Cascades saw themselves in 11
th place in the 20-team field. The event, held in Lévis, Quebec, hosts the top Canadian university and golf teams from across the country, with Canada West schools qualifying after results from the Canada West Golf Championship in October.
The week saw UFV led by
Brett Bateman, who claimed rounds of 71, 73, and 76 in the three-day event to finish at +4 and a tie for 31
st individually.
Hayden Prive,
Lucas O'Dell, and
Zach Auramenko all made up ground on the leaderboard in the final round to end the event with a score of +10 to tie for 54
th, while
Hayden Lazeo moved up one spot to finish tied for 76
th at +16.
Anthony Jomphe of the Montreal Carabins claimed the individual victory at the event, while the UBC Okanagan Heat claimed a 10 stroke victory on the team side.
