The city of Calgary comes to town this weekend, as the Calgary Dinos and their crosstown rival Mount Royal Cougars take on the Cascades in Abbotsford. The two teams currently comprise the top of the Prairie Division table, sitting second and first, respectively.

The UFV side, meanwhile, is undefeated in four games, but three of those results have been ties, and head coach Tom Lowndes knows his team needs to start banking points three at a time if they're to secure a CW playoff berth.

"It's a big weekend," said Lowndes, whose team mounted second-half rallies to earn matching 1-1 draws with UBCO and TRU last week. "At some point we have to start picking up wins if we want to achieve our goals, and we'll look to build off the good things we did last weekend because there were quite a lot of them. We just need to tidy up a few areas and look to limit teams' chances."

Players to watch: Cascades sophomore defender Sahib Sidhu picked up CW men's third star of the week honours after scoring his first career goal last weekend. The 2018 conference all-rookie selection will be relied upon to keep the Dinos and Cougars in check this weekend, and both teams boast high-calibre scoring threats. Calgary third-year forward Dominik Zuczek holds a share of the CW goal-scoring lead with four goals in five games, and MRU rookie striker Rori Enno is the conference's reigning men's first star of the week after scoring in each of his team's weekend road wins over Alberta and MacEwan.
