The Cascades, coming off a weekend split at home – falling 3-2 to Calgary last Friday and defeating Mount Royal 1-0 on Sunday – hit the road to face a Lethbridge Pronghorns squad which is desperate for a victory to stay in the playoff chase.

The Pronghorns are still in search of their first win, and have mustered just five goals over their seven conference games to date.

UFV head coach Tom Lowndes noted that it would be a major error for his squad to underestimate the Pronghorns based on their record, though.

"It's not an easy place to go to," Lowndes said. "They'll be up for playing at home, and looking to take points. We need to have the right mentality, and be ready to play from minute one in order to get the job done."

The Cascades, likewise, are craving three points – they're currently seventh in the Pacific Division based on win percentage, but are just one game back of .500, and a win would vault them into a tie for fourth place.

Players to watch: Rookie Ethan Duggan has emerged from a four-way training-camp battle for the starting goalkeeper position and has played every minute of the Cascades' eight games to date. The North Vancouver product picked up his first career clean sheet last Sunday, registering four saves vs. Mount Royal. It's worth noting that MRU boasts the most potent offence in Canada West this season, with a league-high 16 goals in seven games. A bright spot for the Pronghorns has been the play of rookie midfielder Landon Veluw – he's likewise played every minute for his team, and leads the team in points with one goal and one assist.
